This was a delightful story, written at a level that was adequately challenging for an intermediate level student of French. The characters were realistic yet somewhat intriguingly original and the narrative was plausible and fun. It might serve for a beginning student with more challenges (and a good English/French dictionary handy). I would be first in line to purchase a sequel to this story or another similar story by the same author.
